Since moving to Etcheverry hall 2115 over summer 2019 we have begun to setup a display of experiments in the showcase windows seen below. The plan is to eventually have an interactive touchscreen display that visitors and students can use to not only learn of what they see, but also interact and cause actions. E.g. visitors can launch a wave in a wave tank visible through the windows.

Figure 1: Windows along 2nd floor hallway. IT staffer Mr. Rene Viray is holding a touchscreen at its intended installation location. Students and visitors can use the touchscreen to learn about the exhibits displayed behind the glass and research they see in the background, and even interact with the demos e.g. by launching a series of waves of their choosing in a 16ft long wave tank located in the lab’s teaching area.
